Our grant funded programs are specifically geared towards the individual career seekers development, to making the best career decision that leads to self sufficiency. The process to getting the necessary resources and help is simple, review the required documents, review educational institututions and lastly submit an request for services application for workforce training services. 

The WIOA Adult program is for individuals over the age of 18 who are unemployed or employed, that also meet one of the following criteria: Veteran or eligible spouse, low income or receiving public assistance, basic skills deficient, homeless, or below the local self-sufficiency wage (200% of the federal poverty level). If you are determined eligible for this program, we can provide you with individualized services to help you either find a job or receive training through one of our eligible training providers. If you are interested in applying for assistance through WIOA, you need to complete the online WIOA Request for Services form.

Choosing a career that is in demand, you increase your chances of finding stable and long-term employment. These careers are often in industries that are growing and have a high demand for skilled workers, knowing  what careers are in demand can help you make informed decisions.

Step 3: Participating Schools

Viewing multiple schools is important to career search for several reasons:Variety of programs, quality of education, cost of finanical aid, location and accessibility, campus culture and resources, and overall it is important to career search. Start exploring today and apply for WIOA funding.

Work experience for young adults refers to any employment or job-related activities that a person engages in during their youth or early adulthood. This may include part-time or full-time jobs, internships, apprenticeships, volunteer work, or any other activities that provide practical experience on job.

On The Job Training

On-the-job training (OJT) is a type of training that takes place in the workplace, where a young adult employee learns the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job under the guidance and supervision of a more experienced worker. Here are some benefits of OJT for young adults:

Dislocated Worker

A dislocated worker is someone who has lost their job or has been laid off from their employment due to circumstances beyond their control. This may include situations such as plant closures, business downsizing, economic restructuring, or natural disasters. You may qualify if you have been impacted.
