Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of CareerSource Southwest Florida is responsible for policy and oversight for workforce development activities in the local Workforce Development Area 24 (Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee Counties). Such responsibilities include planning and activities under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and oversight of local youth activities, welfare-to-work and welfare transition programs, training activities for adults, and one-stop delivery system. The Board is comprised of a majority percent representing the business sector, plus representation of organized labor/registered apprenticeships, education, economic development, one-stop partners, and community based organizations
