Board of Directors:
The Board of Directors of CareerSource Southwest Florida is responsible for policy and oversight for workforce development activities local Workforce Development Area 24 (Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee Counties). Such responsibilities include planning and activities under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and welfare transition programs, and oversight of the one stop delivery system. The Board is comprised of a majority percentage representing the business sector, plus representation of organized labor/registered apprenticeships, education, economic development, one-stop partners, and community-based organizations.

Our Mission is to initiate and support effective strategies through collaboration with business, education, and social services to facilitate the development of programs and activities that reduce dependency, encourage personal growth, and provide economic benefits to individuals, businesses and communities of Southwest Florida.
