The Professional Career Network (PCN) self-directed job search workshop offers career transition services to professionals through networking, business partnerships and job referrals. The PCN will provide opportunities for professionals from various industries to exchange contacts, experiences and possible referrals. Business networking workshops are events or training sessions designed to help individuals improve their networking skills and expand their professional contacts.

These workshops may be organized by a variety of organizations, such as industry associations, professional groups, or community organizations, and may be offered in-person or online. (Attendees should have a degreed educational background and/ or Supervisory/Managerial experience).

Networking

Networking is by far the most important attribute of connecting professional with professionals. The process of interacting with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts. This topic is discussed in details as it can vary depending on industry and professional portfolios.

Goal setting is a process that starts with careful consideration of what you want to achieve, and ends with a lot of hard work to actually do it.
