Veterans Workforce Program

Priority of Services

VETERANS MATTER!

We are here to serve you.

You served our country and now we are here to help you with your workforce quest.  We are dedicated to the recognition of and delivery of services to veterans.  Veterans are identified at the point of entry to the center and are given priority over non-veterans with respect to all Department of Labor funded programs and services.  All CareerSource Southwest Florida staff members are empowered to develop employment opportunities with employers to improve employment outcomes for targeted Veterans.

Veterans come to the civilian workforce with extensive technical and non-technical skills gained through military experience and training. The Veterans Energy Pipeline website was designed by Vets4Energy and the American Petroleum Institute. Vets4Energy is a grassroots group of veterans who believe that energy security is tied to our national security.

Together, the organizations want to assist veterans interested in the energy industry by pairing their skills by rank and branch of service with similar job titles in this sector. It is designed to help veterans identify the types of jobs for which they may qualify.

Visit Veterans Energy Pipeline for more information.
