The 12 institutions within the System enhance the state and its many valuable assets by providing high-quality academic degree programs to meet state economic and workforce needs, cutting-edge research to address global problems, and community outreach to improve the quality of life for Floridians. The System now enrolls over 400,000 students. Each institution has its own distinct mission, but all have one thing in common. They are committed to building relationships with the business community.
