Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s new program, Rebuild Florida, launched Monday, September 24th.
- Rebuild Florida is a $1.4 billion disaster recovery program for Hurricane Irma that will allow DEO and partners the opportunity to provide critical assistance in many impacted communities across the state.
- Rebuild Florida will repair and rebuild homes for low-income families, construct additional affordable housing units, assist businesses in disaster recovery and update local infrastructure to better withstand future storms.
- DEO and many partners have been working diligently toward this goal for the past 12 months, since Hurricane Irma hit Florida last September.
