Florida Voices is a project of the USA TODAY Network-Florida that spotlights the 2018 election issues that matter to Floridians. The six newspapers comprising the USA TODAY Network-Florida — FLORIDA TODAY in Melbourne, The News-Press in Fort Myers, Naples Daily News, Pensacola News Journal, Tallahassee Democrat and TCPalm on the Treasure Coast — launched a statewide effort to identify which issues matter most to Floridians.
The Florida Voices initiative straightforward goal is to listen to you and to share what is said. Every week a story by a different Floridian who embodies one of the issues is told. A recently published profile was one of our own staff member from within our Communications Division, Janeth Castrejon.

Janeth, a Fort Myers veteran and businesswoman, says the number one quality of a political candidate is support for veterans.
CareerSource Southwest Florida is dedicated to the recognition of and delivery of services to veterans.
Veterans are identified at the point of entry at all our career centers and are given priority over non-veterans with respect to all Department of Labor funded programs and services.
